Google Pixel phones have custom icon packs now and, in the latest update, Google is adding a new \u201cDisco\u201d pack that\u2019s\u2026 a choice<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Android Ecosystem President at Google, Sameer Samat, confirmed <\/a>that a new \u201cDisco\u201d icon pack is rolling out now on Google Pixel phones. <\/p>\n

The idea spawned from a Twitter\/X thread<\/a> where \u201cdiscomorphism\u201d was shown off on certain apps such as YouTube and Claude. Samat, at the time<\/a>, talked about bringing the icon pack to Android phones, but confirmed <\/a>it was a serious discussion. Fast forward to today, and it has arrived.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDisco\u201d icon pack on Google Pixel phones gives each icon an overhaul that gives a disco ball effect on a black background. It\u2019s a whole vibe when you see it in action on your own homescreen setup.<\/p>\n
