{"id":87897,"date":"2026-05-24T01:41:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T01:41:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bisedoshqip.de\/star-fox-on-switch-2-is-getting-a-day-one-update\/"},"modified":"2026-05-24T01:41:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T01:41:19","slug":"star-fox-on-switch-2-is-getting-a-day-one-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bisedoshqip.de\/sq\/star-fox-on-switch-2-is-getting-a-day-one-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Fox On Switch 2 Is Getting A Day One Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<figure class=\"picture\" data-uuid=\"63516da3efe97\"><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Star Fox\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/63516da3efe97\/star-fox.large.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/63516da3efe97\/star-fox.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"562\" alt=\"Star Fox\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption\"><em class=\"credit\"><span class=\"\"\/> Image: Nintendo<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ahead of the release of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/star-fox\">Star Fox<\/a> on the Switch 2 next month, Nintendo&#8217;s Japanese website has revealed an update will be required to unlock certain features.<\/p>\n<p>As <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/nintendoeverything.com\/star-fox-will-have-a-day-one-update-on-nintendo-switch-2\/\">spotted by Nintendo Everything<\/a>, the update will allow you to participate in the online Battle Mode, which supports 4-vs-4 multiplayer dogfights between Team Star Fox and Team Star Wolf.<\/p>\n<p>The same page also mentions how this update will be required to access the title&#8217;s GameChat character avatars and AR features, which allow you to take on the appearance of Fox and the rest of his crew.<\/p>\n<p>To access online play and Game Chat, you&#8217;ll need to have an active Switch Online membership. Previous Nintendo releases have also required players to download updates and even the latest system firmware to unlock and access online features.<\/p>\n<p>Star Fox will be available for Switch 2 digitally on <strong>25th June 2026<\/strong>, and will arrive the same day in store.
