Rayman Legends Retold targeting 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch 2, will have content parity with other platforms
Ubisoft has provided the early word on what to expect from Rayman Legends Retold on Nintendo Switch 2.
For those that missed out on the news, the game was just revealed today. It’ll be a remake of the beloved 2013 game, now in 2.5D / 3D plus new content.
As for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, it looks like Ubisoft is putting in work here. Alessandro Arndt Mucchi, the Milan production director, told us that the team is targeting 60 frames per second. We did ask about resolution and potential features like mouse controls, but Ubisoft is keeping quiet on that front for now.
The other tidbit we did receive is that Ubisoft aims “to have content parity with the other platforms.”
Occasionally in the past, there have been concerns about how Nintendo Switch 2 versions of games would stack up to other platforms. Based on Ubisoft’s comments though, it looks like Rayman Legends Retold is a priority on Nintendo’s console.
Rayman Legends Retold is hitting Nintendo Switch 2 on October 1, 2026. In case you missed it, Ubisoft has also explained why it decided to remake the game.
