Final Fantasy 7 Revelation store page lists multiple DLCs, including story expansion
Last month, we reported that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, the final chapter of the acclaimed trilogy that is set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, could receive DLC after release. While the game is still a long way off, new evidence has surfaced suggesting that may indeed be the case.
According to EpicDB, a third-party tool that tracks changes on the Epic Games Store, the title may receive far more than just a single DLC. The listing references a Premium Plus Edition, Premium Edition, a Story Expansion Pass, nine separate DLCs, and more.
It’s worth noting that none of these items have been officially confirmed by Square Enix. Some of the listings could simply be placeholder entries or smaller content packs rather than major expansions.
Since Square Enix has yet to comment on the store listings, it’s best to treat this information as a rumor until the company makes an official announcement.
Director Naoki Hamaguchi previously commented on the possibility of releasing DLC in the future. You can read his comments here.
