The Big Summer Preview – New Ork miniatures and codex are coming
Veterans of the Armageddon box will also be getting their standalone releases, so you can add more Weirdboyz, Dakkarigs, Wartrakks, and others to your expanding army. The Bigboss, Bannernob, and Painboy with Grot Orderly will all come together as part of the Armageddon Kommand Krew, while everything else gets its own dedicated box.
But what about the Boyz, you ask? Well, now… that would be telling.
Command Pack: Orks

With so many detachments to choose from now, you’ll want to keep the rules and stratagems you picked close at hand so you don’t have to go digging through the Codex in the heat of battle. The new Command Pack is for just that purpose, giving you 94 handy reference cards – for detachments, stratagems, and enhancements – along with loads of double-sided tokens to keep track of important statuses like stat penalties from unit rules and whether Wazdakka Gutsmek has remembered to choose his Pulse Jet ability.*
Orks Dice
It wouldn’t be a faction release without a new set of dice to christen their Codex, and the Orks get a particularly nice set cast in green with red pips and the faction logo on the six.
Would you believe that there are even more Orks still to reveal from the new Codex? If you want to see them post-haste, you’ll need to take part in the global Siege of Death Mire campaign that’s now underway. You’ve got until 13 July to play some Warhammer with the new edition’s rules and submit your results for either the Space Marine or Ork sides – no matter which faction you play with.
Each week, the victor will get a new model reveal, with the overall winner being rewarded with an entirely new detachment. Your games decide if Hive Death Mire stands or falls, and its fate will become part of the Warhammer 40,000 canon forevermore.
But before you race off to batter down the gates or hurl the horde back from its walls, there’s still more to see from today’s Preview. Head back to the hub now and see what else we’re showing off.
